neil armstrong marked history 40 years ago.

a small step for a man,

a big step for mankind.

the space program has revolutionized life on earth & beyond,

with all of the technologies that have dramatically evolved ever since.

& it has opened up whole new possibilities
where we can dream of other worlds,
eventually...

in the auditorium,

IS DEMOCRACY BLEEDING IN IRAN?

given the results in the last iranian election,

& the reaction from part of the population,

one might question the validity of said election.

if the current regime is beyond reproach,

it should have a recount of all ballots,

for transparency purpose.

otherwise,

one might suspect foulplay.

i don't care which side wins,

if it is really the will of the people.

of course,

i would prefer a less ultra-conservative government in iran,

but it is the choice of a society which isn't mine.

but we may be witnessing

said choice being crushed under our very eyes,

& we can't remain complacent.

we must find a way

to show our disapproval of the way the election was handled,

& support to the people who scream to injustice.

it is a shame this happened

& we can only hope

a certain degree of democracy shall prevail eventually.

but the current regime is holding on to power,

imposing silence, pain, intimidation,

& even death...

a real shame!!

D-DAY, REMEMBERING WITH GRATITUDE (JUNE 6TH 1944)

D-DAY.

65 years ago,

the biggest military enterprise by the allied forces

to finally cause the eventual downfall of nazi occupation in europe,

at the cost of so many lives.

so many remained anonymous,

but their sacrifice was not in vain.

they all stand as heros,

whatever flag they were under on,

as freedom was eventually regained in europe.

a heartfelt thanks for their willingness to defend such a cause,

for their pain, & their ultimate sacrifice.

we salute you,

the heros of normnandy.

you are not forgotten.

it was said:

"never again!!".

unfortunatly,

mankind has a hard time remembering its mistakes,

& keeps repeating them,

if perhaps on a smaller scale,

in comparison...

it is our shame now.

but what would the world be like now

if nazism had prevailed?

i dare not imagine...
